Our vision
Our vision at Las Semillas de Paz is of a community where each individual can develop and flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. Within that caring community, each person can realize their own unique potential while contributing from the heart to the collective welfare of the whole, helping to create a new world with love and peace.
Our purpose
Las Semillas de Paz (the Seeds of Peace) is an educational project that aims to accompany children between 2 and 10 years of age in their holistic development. Through artistic, experiential, personalized education, we nurture each child's creative spark and cultivate their curiosity and natural love of learning. By celebrating and developing each child's unique nature, we encourage them to discover and value themselves and the people around them. We are deeply committed to inspiring children to think and act independently while understanding and appreciating their connections with their community and the natural world around them.
Our mission
To achieve our vision, we collaborate as a community of families and teachers to guide children as they develop their true and full selves. We help them to explore inwardly as they discover their unique value through self-observation and self-knowledge. And we encourage them to explore outwards through an ever-deepening experience of the beautiful world that is their home. Our mission is to support children as they develop their bodies, senses, minds, and hearts with free play, art, music, and the joy of collaborative learning alongside friends in a loving and peaceful environment.
Maternal & kindergarten
In our kindergarten, we create a space of love, peace, and harmony where children, through their own experiences, discover who they are and how to relate to the world around them in creative, playful, and respectful ways.
Prepatoria
In prepatoria, we build on the joy and curiosity that children naturally have for learning to introduce the magical world of letters and numbers in a creative, fun, and interesting way. With images and imagination, we begin a journey that sows in them the love and passion for study and the curiosity to find answers to their questions.
Elementary grades
In their final grades at Las Semillas de Paz, we continue to build on all the children’s previous experiences of creative, experiential learning while encouraging ever-more adventurous engagement with the world around them.
Primaria
As the children grow, we continue an educational journey together that focuses on meeting each child's individual needs. Our personalized education in small groups fosters each child's creative spark and prioritizes their social and emotional development as individuals within a loving community.
